Mars at Wernersville, 5/19 and 5/31 (update)

THE NEARLY FULL MOON ONLY ENHANCED THE PLANET MARS, THE SMALL RED-YELLOW DISK ABOVE THE TREES OUTSIDE MY WINDOW.

MARS ON MAY 30, 2016 WILL BE AT ITS CLOSEST POINT TO THE EARTH, ITS PERIGEE.

This photo taken on May 31 at about 9 PM.   No other planets or stars greeted the naked eye in this view over the east cloister.
