Sister Francis Joseph, R.A. (Religious of Assumption) celebrates her 90th birthday with a party in the garden of Saint Francis of de Sales Church. Sr. Francis has had her picture taken with Popes while she worked with groups of religious in Rome. She tells tales of dinners with Pope John Paul and Father Pedro Arrupe. Here she enjoys a photo with students from West Philadelphia Catholic High School including Jose Babba and two of his friends.

Jack Martinez, S.J. entertains Eileen, Mary, Jeanne and Frank at breakfast in Jeanne and Frank's garden. He told us the story of publishing his book "Not Counting the Cost" and the story of constructing a $600,000 building at his parish in Virginia. Jack's ministry now is with the sick in Saint Joseph's Hospital in Reading , Pa.
